A WREXHAM leisure centre is to open its doors for a free, fun-filled open day.
Gwyn Evans Leisure & Activity Centre's open day, on Saturday, July 2, promises to be fun for all the family, with free fitness classes throughout the day, including a two-hour Zumbathon that children and adults can take part in.
The Gwyn Evans Leisure & Activity Centre open day will feature inflatable pool fun.
There will be a free family swim session between 2pm and 3pm, followed by a pool inflatable fun session from 3pm to 4pm for children aged eight-12 years. If you don't fancy getting wet, there will be inflatable football and darts in the sports hall.
Gwyn Evans will also be launching their community membership, which will allow local residents to use the facilities at a greatly reduced cost.
Richard Milne, area manager for Freedom Leisure in Wrexham, said: "With the launch of the Gwyn Evans community membership, we want to attract more local people to get active.

Freedom Leisure in Wrexham operate Gwyn Evans Leisure & Activity Centre in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, and look forward to seeing the community having fun and enjoying the Gwersyllt leisure centre.
