THREE vehicles were seized by police in the Wrexham area within half an hour of each other.

North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team said its officers seized three vehices on Tuesday afternoon. 

Officers stopped the first vehicle in Ruabon as a routine traffic stop; it transpired that the insurance had expired at the start of the month and had not been renewed.

A second vehicle was stopped in Johnstown due to showing as not being insured. The occupants had just driven from Manchester after recently buying the vehicle and had not yet purchased any insurance.

An off road bike was then stopped in Llay after being ridden on the road. Not only was the rider uninsured, he did not have a driving licence, and was found to have cannabis in his possession.
