A NEW eatery has opened its doors on the High Street in Wrexham.

The High Street Feeder opened to the public on the weekend of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 2 and owner, Ashraf Mohamed, 49, is excited to build good relationships with the local community.

“For me, it’s very important to build good relationships with the people of Wrexham, I want to build a good reputation, so people come here. It’s in a great location on the High Street and I’m already seeing a lot of people who come in regularly.

“We had a very good weekend last week with Armed Forces Day as 20,000 people were expected to be in Wrexham, so we were very busy.”

Ashraf, who has lived in Wrexham for 18 years has a plethora of experience in hospitality and will be hoping his expertise can continue to leave a lasting impression on customers.

The menu at the High Street Feeder is one which will appeal to everyone no matter what their preferences with a wide variety of selection ranging from pastas and burgers to toasties and salads.

The High Street Feeder serves breakfast, lunch and dinner taking place throughout the day in addition to a takeout service which is already proving to be a hit with locals.

“All my produce here is sourced from local butchers, my eggs are from farm shops and all the bread is from a bakery, so I know that the food is of a great quality. All the food here is from big suppliers and not just shop bought.”

The new café and deli, run by local couple Claire and Paul Wright, opened on Thursday, June 23 on Charles Street.
