This novel, which came out in June 2021, is the latest thriller by the New York Times and Sunday Times best selling author.

The book follows the protagonist on the first direct flight from London to Sydney when she receives an anonymous note of people intending to bring the plane down.

The narrator must choose between saving "hundreds of lives? Or the one that matters most".

Clare Mackintosh is the author of five Sunday Times bestselling novels including I Let You Go, which was the fastest selling debut thriller the year it was released.

Clare's acute portrayals of the police and crime world come from the 12 years she spent working in the police force as a CID and as a public order commander.

After leaving the force in 2011 she began to work as a freelance journalist and social media consultant and is now the founder of the Chipping Norton Literary Festival.

She currently writes full time and lives in Wales with her husband and three children.
