MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help police find a woman who filled up her car and a fuel container before driving of without making payment.
Wrexham town's police team launched the appeal on Friday afternoon.
A spokesman said: "I know fuel is expensive at the moment and at risk of starting a debate we are all struggling to fill up…
"However it doesn’t excuse stealing someone else’s registration plates, filling up your car AND a container on the back seat before driving off.
"That’s what this lady did yesterday, or maybe is was a simple mistake - We would love a chat to find out.
"Know her or the car? It’s a Opel Zafira not a Vauxhall so should stand out.
"Give us a tinkle [on 101] and quote 22000417908."
