A WEIGHT-LOSS expert from Flintshire, who recently received a bronze award for the exceptional work she does, has taken over a new group in the area.
Antonia Edwards, from Mold, joined the Slimming World group in Buckley six years ago and dropped from 12 Stone 10lbs to 10 Stone 7lbs.
She is now a consultant and helps around 63 people in her local community lose weight every week.

Antonia is now set to take over the group in Sychdyn on Tuesdays at 5.30pm and 7pm.
She said: "As someone who has lost weight myself I know the challenges people can face, which is why, along with the group, I will be there to support every one of my members all the way to their chosen target weight.
"Setting targets, sharing recipes and other ideas, and working together as a group to overcome challenges and celebrate success is so important to a successful journey.
Antonia who also runs the Mold Slimming World group, has recently been given the ‘Bronze’ status by the national slimming club because of her success in supporting local slimmers to reach their dream weights, improve their health and change their lives.
The accolade is awarded to Slimming World Consultants who successfully build a vibrant and dynamic group of around 50 members.

Antonia said: “I look forward to using my success to help the members of Sychdyn to be as successful in reaching their weight loss dreams. I feel passionately about helping people to transform their lives by losing weight in the same way that I did.
"Losing weight made me feel happier and healthier and gave me so much more confidence. I became a Consultant because I wanted to share that feeling and help other people to achieve the same success I had myself.
