A Wrexham woman was found dead in her own home, an inquest opening heard.
Wendy Jones, of Bro Deg in Wrexham, was found by police in her home on May 30 2022, after being alerted by a neighbour.
A brief inquest opening held at Ruthin County Hall on Tuesday (June 14) heard that the 80-year-old former licensee's likely death was an act of self harm.
Consultant pathologist Dr Mark Atkinson gave the provisional cause of death as asphyxia (suffocation).
The inquest was adjourned to a later date by Kate Sutherland assistant coroner for North Wales East and Central.
