During her journey to date, Laura - who currently lives in Cefn Mawr - has amassed more than 290,000 followers on Instagram.

Around nine years ago, she began her journey into becoming an official stuntwoman. By now, she has starred in a range of different shows including Emmerdale, Casualty and the hugely-popular Game Of Thrones series.

Now, in the latest milestone in her life, her autobiography 'Being Laura' is set to be turned into a film.

In the book, Laura talks about how she went from being a nurse who only just made ends meet to enjoying a life well-lived by 'setting herself free'.

She has just recently returned from a trip to Cannes, where the world-famous Film Festival was taking place.

While there, Laura was given the opportunity to meet directors and see if they would be interested in helping her tell her story on screen.

She said: "Cannes Film Festival is the place to be to make your film or project known. It's an amazing atmosphere.

"Turning my book into a film is a big deal. I'm also a qualified counsellor and I want to help as many people as I can who have suffered with a number of mental health issues.

"I think that my story can show people that, no matter what you have been through, there is always an opportunity for you to start over and change your life. Anything really is possible, it's hard work but with the correct mindset you can achieve anything.

"A lot of young people now have so many mental health issues, if I can help them at a younger age to get help and follow the right path, then hopefully this will lead them to experiencing less issues as an adult."

Scenes for Laura's film are expected to start filming during the summer of 2023 and will take place in North Wales.

Laura added: "We are currently scouting out the best locations in the area to film at and we will also be looking for local actors and actresses with auditions taking place towards the end of this year.

"Wales is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I have travelled to many countries and been offered the chance to move anywhere I want with work, but in the end I always choose Wales. I want to share this country with the world."

In the meantime, Laura has been casted for other roles in film and television projects while also focusing on writing her own mental health short books with the aim of 'helping people overcome obstacles'.
