A new florist has appeared in Cefn Mawr, which its owner hopes will boost the village and help encourage more shops to the area.

Maypole florist, on Crane Street in Cefn Mawr, opened its doors on June 9 by shop owner, Hayley Edwards who is local to the area.

The shop is part of a long history in the area. Maypole was built in 1873 and it was also restored in 2010 with lottery money as its part of the heritage site.
