A Wrexham park will host a Pirate and Mermaid Trail event for families this weekend.
The trail has been organised by Acton Community Council alongside Wrexham Park Rangers and will take place on Sunday (June 12) from 1.30 to 3pm.
The trail will begin at Herbert Jennings Avenue and then visitors will be invited to follow the trail around the park.

As well as the trail, guests can also enjoy competitions and games throughout the day.
A costume competition in the theme of pirates and mermaids will take place at 1pm with the winners announced around 2pm.
Games will include walking the plank in true pirate fashion and digging for mermaid jewels and pirate treasure.
The event is free of charge.
