THE CHEAPEST places to get petrol in Flintshire and Wrexham have been revealed as prices soar once again.
Across UK forecourts, the average price of unleaded fuel has reached £1.70 per litre for the first time - something the RAC has described as "another unfortunate landmark".
Petrol has become around 41p per litre more expensive over the past 12 months, adding around £23 to the cost of filling a typical 55-litre family car.
The RAC is calling on the UK Government to "take more action" to ease the financial burden on drivers.
According to price comparison sites, the cheapest places to get unleaded fuel in Flintshire are Applegreen on King Street in Mold (164.8p per litre) Morrisons in Saltney (164.9p).
For diesel, the cheapest place is Rhydymwyn Service Station - where it's priced at 174.4p.
In Wrexham, the cheapest places to get unleaded are the Taurus Service Station on Holt Road and the Smithy View service station on Chester Road - at 162.9p.
The most expensive places to ger unleaded fuel in Wrexham are the Plas Acton garage on Chester Road and the Shell garage on Mold Road in Gwersylt - at 169.9p.
The cheapest forecourts to get diesel petrol are Sainsburys and the Holt Road Taurus Service Station - where it's priced at 175.9p
