Lilibet the Shar-Pei is looking for her forever home to make a family complete.

Lili is currently a resident of Flintshire’s Almost Home dog rescue after being a stray and will be turning seven in July.

The dog rescue has described her as a “dinky little girl”, as she is currently weighing in at just 13kg.

Lili is described as ‘shy’ to begin with and has to get used to people on her own terms.

She loves a walk, and her food and the rescue are currently looking for food that will agree with her so that she can gain a few more kilos.

She isn’t fazed by much, she ignores other dogs and isn’t bothered by traffic, she is fab in the car and loves to watch the world go by. She really enjoys having a plod around the rescue’s paddock.

Lili is walking with the rescue’s volunteers daily and her confidence is growing. She’s spotless in her kennel and loves her comfy bed.

Almost Home said: “As we carry on her assessment, we will provide more updates on our website and on Facebook.

“For now, we know we are looking for someone who has experience of the Shar-Pei breed or similar breeds, and rescue/nervous dog experience would also be preferable.

“A home with no other animals (what we feel is right currently - this may change as her assessment carries on) and teenagers plus, due to her nervousness and lack of background info.”
