A NIGHT of music tribute acts is being held in memory of two popular Flintshire men.

Paul Teare and Mark Harrison (known as 'Harry'), both sadly died as a result of heart attacks.

Tragically, Paul, known as Turbo, was preparing to marry his soulmate, Francesca on November 5, 2022, and the couple had just sent out "save the date" cards to friends and family.

Both he and Mark were huge fans of heavy metal music, and on May 28 an event will be held at the Tivoli, in Buckley, in memory of them.

The 'Live it Loud' night will include three live rock bands playing, and a DJ set.

All money raised will be split between two charities - the British Heart Foundation and Calon Heart Screening and Defibrillators Wales.

The Leader: The Tivoli. The Tivoli.

Jane Bellis, a friend of Paul's who is helping organise the event, said: "On behalf of all of Paul's family and friends, and his wonderful fiance, Francesca, we are dedicated to keeping his memory alive with this fitting tribute to a life lived with a deep love of music and support to his community.

"We can't wait to see everybody there."

Following Paul and Mark's deaths, the Tivoli has had a defibrillator installed - kindly donated by Calon Heart Screening and Defibrillators Wales.

Tickets are priced at £10 and can be bought via shorturl.at/GVZ01
