Over 300 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported throughout Wales in the latest Public Health Wales (PHW) figures.

A total of 313 new cases were confirmed by PHW in the update released on Wednesday (May 4), which covers the period from Saturday April 30 to Tuesday May 3. 

Sadly 11 more covid-related deaths have been recorded, taking the total deaths in Wales to 7,386.

66 of those cases were in North Wales.

The full breakdown of figures for North Wales is as follows:

Wrexham - 17

Conwy - 15

Denbighshire - 13

Gwynedd - 10

Flintshire - 9

Anglesey - 2

1,959,641 people have now had their covid booster jab in Wales.
