WREXHAM AFC'S players have put the town's name 'up in lights again' having reached the FA Trophy Final.
That is the view of Wrexham MP Sarah Atherton who hailed the club's 2-0 semi-final win over Stockport County last Saturday as 'great news'.
A spectacular injury-time double from Reds top scorer Paul Mullin was enough to send them into the final where they will face Bromley in Wembley on Saturday, May 22.

PIC: Could this be a year to remember for Wrexham AFC?
That is something Sarah Atherton was keen to highlight following the club's latest victory.
She said: "The win for Wrexham against Stockport at the weekend is great news, and the fact it takes us to Wembley is even better.
"It's symbolic of the high that Wrexham as a town is on at the moment, and we know how engrained our football heritage is in Wrexham, so it’s a proud feeling.
"The team has put Wrexham’s name up in lights again, this time at Wembley!"
Wrexham is currently second in the National League table and chasing promotion back to the English Football League following a 14-year absence.
