RESIDENTS of a Flintshire town are being invited to do their bit to help make a difference in their community.

People living in Holywell are being asked to step forward and join the local business forum.

The Holywell and Greenfield Local Business Forum is looking for individuals with ideas to help drive the area forward and help the town's businesses thrive.

A statement from the group read: "Let's work together to support each other and champion local high streets, sharing best practice and developing new solutions to the challenges faced at a local level. Remember High Streets don't have to decline, they can evolve!"

The group is mostly looking for people who can:

  • Help the High Street adapt and compete in the face of changing consumer trends and social trends.
  • Have their say on the economic recovery of the town.
  • Help the group understand how the Town and County Councils can further support businesses and encourage people back safely to shop on their local high street.

Anyone who thinks they can help the business forum team should contact martin.fearnley@holywell.wales or call him on 01352 711757.
