OVER 2,500 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed according to the latest statistics released by Public Health Wales (PHW).
A total of 2,768 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the latest round of statistics to be released by PHW.
449 of those cases were reported in North Wales.
This can be broken down county-by-county to:
Wrexham - 129
Gwynedd - 78
Flintshire - 76
Denbighshire - 68
Conwy - 61
Anglesey - 37
Sadly, a further 21 people have died following a positive Covid-19 test in the last 24 hours across Wales as a whole. This brings the total number of recorded deaths since records began to 6,752.
Also, 1,795,980 people have now recieved their booster jab across Wales.
