POLICE in Wrexham have released video footage of a man stealing a parcel from a doorstep in Wrexham.
The footage was captured in Prices Lane on Tuesday.
Wrexham Town's policing team have shared the footage captured on the owner's doorbell camera.
On social media, police said "birthday ruined".
Police are hoping someone will recognise the man or his distinctive Adidas top.
The team tweeted: "Can you help us identify this male? He is wanted in connection with a theft from an address on Prices Lane, Wrexham yesterday (18 January).
They added: "It shows an opportunistic thief taking a parcel left outside the property and making off with it.
"The wrapped parcel contained a birthday gift for the resident of this address.
"Do you recognise this male or his distinctive red Adidas jacket?
