A theatre's spring season is filled with something for all the family, including some shows previously cancelled due to the pandemic.

Kicking off the season at Mold's Theatr Clwyd is The Smeds and The Smoos, based on the book by award-winning Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

On a far-off planet, Smeds and Smoos can't be friends. So when a young Smed and Smoo fall in love and zoom off into space together, how will their families get them back?

From the company that created the stage performances of Room on the Broom and The Gruffalo (coming later in the season), Tall Stories brings music, laughs and interplanetary adventures for everyone aged three years and up.

Oi Frog & Friends hop back into Theatr Clwyd after its cancellation in May 2020. Join Frog, Cat and Dog in this new action-packed stage adaptation of Kes Gray and Jim Field's bestselling books. Expect songs, puppets and more rhymes than you can shake a chime at!

A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood... right into Theatr Clwyd! Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories' magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book The Gruffalo, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Loved by children and their adults this show is perfect for ages three and above.

Finally, Theatr Clwyd welcome Twirlywoos to the venue. Join Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy, Chick and their friends as they discover the wonderful world around us! Expect mischief, music and plenty of surprises as they set sail in their big red boat.

This show is made by the same company that bought The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the venue in the autumn. Perfect for ages one year and above.
