Author of the Month 

Carol Drinkwater is a British actress, writer and filmmaker currently living in France. She was born in London and married to French television producer Michel Noll. Carol portrayed Helen Herriot in the first three series of the BBC television adaptation of the James Herroit book, All Creatures Great and Small, which led to her receiving the Variety Club Television Personality of the Year award in 1985.

Whilst working in Australia she wrote her first successful children's book, The Haunted School, which led to further children's books and a TV mini series. Her books for adults include commercial fiction and a series of best-selling memoirs about her experiences on her olive farm in Provence, as well as epic novels, The Forgotten Summer and The Lost Girl.

Stori a Chân

Have fun sharing rhymes and stories with your baby or toddler! Sharing books and coming to story-rhyme times are fun and a great way to help under fives develop their listening, thinking and talking skills. The bilingual Stori a Chân sessions are held at Wrexham Library every Thursday afternoon at 2pm, and they are free of charge so why not come along?

Polish book collection

Did you know Wrexham Library has a collection of books in Polish for library customers to borrow? The collection is refreshed every six months and the library has just received its latest collection.

Are you looking for somewhere to do your homework, or somewhere to get away from the stresses of home to catch up with your studies? All of Wrexham's libraries offer places where you can study in peace and quiet. The spaces are all free of charge and have access to charging points, plus there is no need to book.
