A GROUP of men tried to break into a property in Deeside.
The incident occurred at an address in Sealand on Friday night.
The owner of the property captured the group of three men on her home CCTV camera, and North Wales Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
It is the latest in a number of recent instances of break in attempts, with similar incidents in the Wrexham area over the last couple of weeks.
On Monday, North Wales Police issued burglary safety advice.
The force said: "Twilight burglaries normally occur between the hours of 6pm and 11pm.
"We all want to try and avoid this type of offence occurring. If you witness anything suspicious please feel free to call 101 non emergency or 999 in an emergency."
Police are urging people to keep their home and valuables safe by doing the following:
- Keep a light on when you go out.
- Invest in outside lighting.
- Lock all windows and doors, even when you are at home.
- Don’t leave valuable items on display.
- Report any suspicious activity in your area to the police.
- If you are not sure, don’t open the door.
