A GYM owner successfully crowdfunded to raise enough to buy life-saving defibrillators at his two fitness suites.

Jack Sullivan runs JS-PT Health Studio - based in Connah's Quay and Mold.

He asked for help from the local community to fund two new defibrillators for the two premises.

Having successfully done so, they are both now located outside the premises - so that they are accessible even when the gyms are shut.

And not only that, Jack and his team collected food, clothes and other essential items to be donated to local homeless people.

Over Christmas, they dropped off over 10 boxes and bags of food, nappies and animal treats for the homeless, as well as eight pairs of trainers.

Jack said: "The goal this year was to really step up our efforts in the community and all the team here are more than happy they have achieved with two working and reliable defibrillators that are always readily available if needed.

"And the second part of our Christmas good will efforts was our collection of food and other items. Each year our clients help and never disappoint in their efforts to help us help others.

"We have dropped all items with Nanny biscuit who will distribute it out to those who need it most."
