POLICE in Wrexham are supporting a scheme that allows people to tell them anonymously about areas where they feel unsafe.
StreetSafe is a pilot service for anyone to anonymously tell the police about public places where they have felt or feel unsafe.
This could be because of environmental issues, such as street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism.
It could also be due to behaviour of others, such as being followed or verbally abused.
Wrexham Town's Neighbourhood Policing Team tweeted: "We’re supporting the StreetSafe service that allows residents to anonymously identify areas that make them feel unsafe.
"We’re patrolling those areas and working with partners to address your concerns, we’re here for you."
StreetSafe is not for reporting crime or incidents - this can be done by calling 101 or online.
