North Wales Police warned Flintshire business owners after reports of motorbike thefts on New Years Eve.

Reports came through regarding suspects around the Deeside Industrial Estate area riding motorbikes at high speed trying to steal other vehicles in the area.

In a post on their community alerts page, just after 3pm on December 31, North Wales Police said:

"Business owners please be aware we are having reports of motorbike thefts in and around the Deeside Industrial Estate area. The suspects are believed to be riding motorbikes to the area and riding at high speed, looking for other motorbikes to target and steal.

"If you work in the area, please ensure you lock up your vehicles securely or park in secure car parks where possible."
