SCHOOLS in Wrexham will switch to online learning for the final three days of term amid concerns over self-isolation risks over Christmas.
In a letter issued to parents on Monday, Wrexham Council said that cases are rising in the area, and those identified next week would result in children and their families having to self-isolate over Christmas.
For this reason, the authority has decided to switch all learners to remote working from Monday (December 20) until term finishes on December 22.
All schools will make provision available for vulnerable learners and the children of keys workers where there are no alternative arrangements possible.
