WILL it be five-star Holywell Town this weekend?

Johnny Haseldin's side are on a tremendous run of form in Cymru North and victory at Llanidloes Town tomorrow will make it five wins on the trot for the on-the-up Wellmen.

The winning run has seen Holywell climb to eighth in the standings and a sixth league triumph of the campaign could see them up into the top-seven.

A tough task is in the offing for Gresford Athletic tonight.

Looking for a three-point haul in their efforts to pull away from the lower reaches of the table, Athletic have to travel to in-form Colwyn Bay, who are fifth in the standings.

Victory for the Seagulls will move them to within a solitary point of fourth-placed Buckley Town, while Gresford are in 11th spot, just two points ahead of third-from-bottom Penrhyncoch.

Off-the-field matters mean that it's another free weekend for Dan Moore's Buckley Town.

They were due to head to Bangor City for their latest Cymru North outing, but the Citizens have this week been suspended from all football-related activity.

A statement on the FAW website read: "Bangor City FC have been suspended from all football related activity following their non-compliance with a Disciplinary Panel order.

"The suspension relates to a number of disputes from personnel of Bangor City FC in accordance with FAW Rules... for the alleged non-payment of salaries.

"In accordance with FAW Rule 49, the Disciplinary Panel ordered Bangor City FC to pay the outstanding monies within 31 days as and from 29 October 2021.

"The deadline for these payments has passed, resulting in an automatic suspension from all football related activity until such time that the Club complies with the order."

Instead of having a weekend away from football, Moore says he's likely to take in the encounter between Ruthin Town and Penrhyncoch.

Tonight, Llangefni Town play host to Conwy Borough, while tomorrow's match of the day is the meeting between second-placed Llandudno and Guilsfield, who are unbeaten in third spot.

Tomorrow's other match is at Llanrhaeadr, where Prestatyn Town are the visitors.
