WILL it just be a matter of time before Cefn Druids finally start picking up Cymru Premier League victories?

That's the hope of Druids' midfielder Joe Faux.

Following a tough start to the campaign, things are looking a little more positive at Druids and Faux said: "I mean especially the last two games we have played.

"The game at Barry and against Flint we came off these games feeling we deserved a bit more.

"It's hard to take positives, but the games are really close and we're in the game until the 90th minute.

"We maybe just need to be a bit more clinical, and maybe to get a bit of luck."

Cefn Druids have home advantage for their next league encounter, which is at home to Welsh League Cup finalists Cardiff Met tomorrow.

"We're all going into this game with confidence," added Faux.

"This is another team down in the bottom-six with us.

"We are going to give it everything.

"It's so hard to put you finger on what it is.

"In some games, it's a bit extra in defence, other games, a little bit more clinical in front of goal.

"At Barry, we could have gone in 2-1 or 3-1 up, and we went in 1-0 down and not knowing how.

"But we're confident going into Saturday."

Looking ahead, Druids want to be within touching distance of the clubs above them when the mid-season split arrives next month.

"We have got a plan in place of where we want to be come the split," said Faux.

"If we can keep that gap below 10 points because in phase two we only play those teams in the bottom-six."
