A ROAD near Ellesmere was closed on Monday afternoon following a collision after car hit a telegraph pole.
The incident was reported at around 2.15pm, on the A528 near Cockshutt and saw two fire crews mobilised, from Shrewsbury and Baschurch, as well as an operations officer.
Crews used cutters and spreaders to deal with the incident, which involved a saloon car on its roof, after colliding with a telegraph pole.
The Air Ambulance, land ambulance service and the police were also on the scene.
The A528 is closed both ways, and slow traffic because of the fallen power cables between the Bagley turn off and the Petton turn off.
