Police have warned Wrexham residents about possible counterfeit notes
Police have warned that a number of suspected fake bank notes have been used in Wrexham.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Town team said:
"Reports were received yesterday of counterfeit bank notes being used in Wrexham. One shop received three £50 notes, now suspected to be fake. Take extra care and check high denomination notes for flaws.
"If anyone presents suspicious notes, contact us quoting ref. 21000820582."
