A WREXHAM community council is organising a Christmas fair.
Cefn Community Council is running the event - which will be held at The George Edwards Hall in Cefn Mawr on Friday November 26, between 5pm 7pm.
There will be a Santa's grotto, various stalls, free face painting for the children and refreshments.
The event is free to come attend, with the Santa's grotto priced £1 a child - which includes a present.
Beforehand, the Mayor of Wrexham, Councillor Ronnie Prince, will be at 4pm judging the Christmas window dressing competition held at local businesses.
The lights will be turned on in the village just before 5pm, accompanied by carol singing.
The road from the car park on Well Street to the corner of High Street will be closed for approximately 45 minutes from 4.45pm.
