DESPITE being crowed the winner of Celebrity MasterChef this year, Kadeena Cox will 'sit back' rather than put herself forward for the castle cook role.

The four-time paralympic gold champion, 30, who is part of the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! line up, said she felt some 'pressure' when asked by coastal chief reporter Suzanne Kendrick if she'd want to cook for her fellow campmates.

"I feel like people are going to say 'she won MasterChef!' So there is a lot of pressure on being able to cook for people," Kadeena laughed.

"I'm not going to raise my hand for the opportunity, I will sit back."

Kadeena, who beat Reality star Megan McKenna and former EastEnders actor Joe Swash to the MasterChef trophy, has represented Great Britain in both sprinting and cycling events.

The Leeds-born athlete was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014.

Having previously competed as an able-bodied athlete, she excelled on her Paralympics debut two years later and was one of the headline-grabbing stories of Rio, becoming the first Briton to top the podium in two different sports in the same Games since 1984.

Asked by the Journal if she was vying to be named the second Queen of the Castle, Kadeena replied: "I actually haven't thought about that. I've been worried about all the bits in-between that I haven't even thought about that bit.

"My one aim, I've always said if I ever get on the show, I'd love to be in long enough to do the Cyclone. So that is kind of the aim.

"I think it would be great to be Queen of the Castle.

"As someone, you know, who is disabled, black, female with an eating disorder, and a Christian, it would be so great to showcase all that about myself and for people to like and appreciate me and all of that, that would be great, but at the same time I think I have got a long journey before we get to that point."
