PLANS for a glamping site and the conversion of a listed building are amongst the latest applications received by Flintshire Council.

There are plans to convert a listed building at 2 High Street, Holywell into three dwellings. The application includes plans for accessible accommodation with external amenity space and covered bin store, bike store and storage. It involves the "critical structural upgrade to all facades and throughout".

Other notable applications received by Flintshire Council in the last couple of weeks include:

  • Application for the addition of three Glamping Pods on the unused field to the south/west corner of Bryn Golau, Buxton Lane, Pentre Halkyn.
  • Notification of post box removal on Wrexham Road, Mold, CH7 1HT.
  • Change of use from agricultural land to tourism facility to provide six lodges, together with access and associated landscaping and planting at Waen Y Lloc, Pen Ffordd Llan, Holywell.
  • Construction of three one-bedroom flats above existing shops at Ewloe Kebab and Pizza House, 1 Holywell Road, Ewloe.,
