South Essex music star Anne-Marie has joined forces with former One Direction star Niall Horan for this year's Children in Need single. 

Anne-Marie,  who grew up in East Tilbury, had recorded a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere. 

The single will raise vital funds to help support children and young people across the UK facing disadvantage, at a time when they need it most.

It is available for pre-order now, ahead of its release on Atlantic Records on Friday, the day of BBC Children In Need's fundraising spectacular.

Everywhere (BBC Children In Need) will be available to download or stream from 12.01on Friday, and you can hear the very first broadcast of the single that same day, live simultaneously on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, and The Greg James Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1.

The star-studded music video will be be given its exclusive debut on BBC Children In Need's 2021 Appeal Show on BBC One that evening.

The video features a number of surprise cameos from a supergroup of world-renowned artists, including Ed Sheeran, Griff, and Yungblud.

This single follows on from the success of the BBC's 2020 charity singles: BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Allstars covered Foo Fighters' Times Like These and reached #1 on the Official Chart, and BBC Radio 2's Allstars covered Oasis' Stop Crying Your Heart Out and reached #7.

Earlier this year Anne-Marie and Niall recorded a duet called Our Song.
