MORE than 2,700 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded across Wales in the latest figures released by Public Health Wales. 

The figures released on Friday (November 12) report that 2,735 new cases were recorded in the latest 24-hour period.

Sadly, four people have died in Wales having tested positive for the virus, taking the total deaths to 6,276.

Of the new cases reported today, 524 were in North Wales.

The new cases of covid in North Wales can be broken down to:

  • Gwynedd - 119
  • Wrexham - 111
  • Flintshire -101 
  • Denbighshire - 100
  • Conwy - 69 
  • Anglesey - 24

The seven-day rolling infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 477.5 cases per 100,000 people. In North Wales, every county is below the average.
