WREXHAM Glyndwr has agreed a partnership with new planning consultants who will work with the university on some major and exciting projects.

Cassidy + Ashton, an award winning chartered town planning, architects and building surveyors practice based in North Wales, the North-west and London, will work with the university as it moves forward with its Campus 2025 developments linking in with the Wrexham Gateway Project.

The firm has substantial experience in delivering excellent schemes across all sectors, and a strong belief in quality architectural design, and structured management.

Campus 2025 is Wrexham Glyndwr University’s £70m strategy to enhance the local region and all of its campuses to ensure that its students have the best facilities and learning environment.

Two modern and welcoming social learning spaces: The Study and The Gallery have already been completed, along with B corridor in the main building on the Plas Coch campus which is the main teaching corridor. Refurbishments to this corridor include SCALE-UP teaching space, a huddle room, a hub plus traditional teaching space.

Refurbishment of the Regent Street School of Creative Arts campus is also currently underway.
