STRIKE action has resumed at a cable factory in Wrexham.
Today (November 9), Unite the Union members working for Prysmian Cables on Wrexham Industrial Estate are back on the picket line for a second day of strike action.
Unite has said it is following a "failure by the company to engage in meaningful talks" with the union over a pay increase dispute.
This second of the eight scheduled strike days will again see over 200 workers taking industrial action.
Unite regional co-ordinating officer, Tony Brady, said: “The Prysmian strike will continue until our members get what they deserve.
"The company has failed to use the past week to engage with Unite in any meaningful way. Our members resolve is strong and they are determined to continue their industrial action until a decent and fair pay rise is on the table."
The Leader has approached Prysmian Group for comment on the matter.
