Last year saw the region's November skies remain in darkness, as the pandemic continued to take its toll on large events.
Bonfire Night firework displays were cancelled, to the disappointment of many.
But this year, they're back with a bang!
List of Bonfire Night events going ahead
Ahead of many organised displays, we look back at a few moments from Bonfire Nights gone by.
They're real community centred occasions, suitable for all the family, from the fireworks, food and fun on offer.
There has always been a big emphasis on safety, and our local fire crews have made the message fun for youngsters, including visits to schools.
Hopefully this year you can enjoy one of planned events happening across Wrexham and Flintshire.
Many take place tonight, with others happening throughout the weekend.
Whether you're planning to enjoy one of the community events, or something on a smaller scale at home, have fun and be safe.
