TRAVELLERS who pitched up at a Flintshire car park have now departed, the county council has confirmed.
Last week, The Leader reported that a small group of about five caravans had been spotted at the New Street car park in Mold.
This was in the area where the public toilets, which have recently been knocked down, used to be.
It was the second time in as many months that travellers had pitched up at the car park.
However, Flintshire Council has now told The Leader that the caravans 'left the site on Sunday' and that 'no further comment' would be made on the matter.
