AN EVENT is being held in Wrexham to celebrate the rights of children and their place in society.
Wrexham Council is organising the event which will take place at Ty Pawb on November 18 between 3pm and 7.30pm.
It will include food, magic shows, stalls and games, as well as an open mic event.
Children and young people are also in with a chance of winning a £100 voucher of their choice by entering the ‘what does having a voice mean to you?’ competition.
They are invited to create a piece of work – it could be a written piece, a piece of creative art, a piece of music or a video, expressing what it means to them to have a voice.
People attending are asked wear something blue for the day - with blue being the internationally recognised colour of World Children’s Day.
