THE importance of defibrillators has been highlighted by North Wales Police this week.
The Force has notified residents of the locations of six of the potentially life-saving bits of equipment in the local area there.
They are as follows:
- Ty Mawr Country Park, Cae Gwilym Lane, Cefn
- Hinds Shop, Bro Gwilym, Cefn
- George Edwards Hall, Well Street, Cefn
- Llys Y Craig, Rock Road, Rhosymedre
- Eagles, Llangollen Road, Acrefair
- Housing Office, Plas Madoc, Acrefair
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We are fortunate to have life saving defibrillators within the community which are accessible 24 hours a day; one of which has been kindly purchased via fundraising by Cefn residents. The remaining five have been funded by the Cefn Community Council. "
