Nearly nine in 10 adults in Flintshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 107,312 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to October 17 – 86% of the area's adults.
They make up part of the 111,282 people who have been given at least one jab – 89% of the over-18 population.
Figures also show 2,436 16 and 17-year-olds in Flintshire (72% of the age group) and 1,885 12 to 15-year-olds (24%) had received a first dose by then.
The data on second doses for each age group in the area shows:
- 16 to 17 – 826 administered (24%)
- 18 to 29 – 15,165 administered (75%)
- 30 to 39 – 14,202 administered (72%)
- 40 to 49 – 16,112 administered (84%)
- 50 to 54 – 10,718 administered (90%)
- 55 to 59 – 10,730 administered (91%)
- 60 to 64 – 9,227 administered (92%)
- 65 to 69 – 8,097 administered (95%)
- 70 to 74 – 9,113 administered (96%)
- 75 to 79 – 6,309 administered (97%)
- 80 and over – 7,639 administered (96%)
Across Wales, 2.2 million people have had both doses, 86% of the over-16 population, and 2.4 million (93%) have had at least one dose.
The rates have been updated using recently released 2020 mid-year population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
