MORE than 4,000 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Wales, as well as 13 further deaths.
Public Health Wales figures released on Thursday (October 21) report that 4,240 new cases were recorded in the latest 24-hour period.
Of the new cases reported, 610 were in North Wales, up from the 438 recorded in the previous 24-hr period.
Gwynedd had the most new cases of the virus - 134.
The new cases of covid in North Wales can be broken down to:
Flintshire 126
Gwynedd 134
Denbighshire 126
Wrexham 87
Anglesey 45
Conwy 92
Sadly, a further 13 people have died in Wales in the latest 24-hour period having tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 28 days. 6,063 people in Wales have died after a positive test since the start of the pandemic.
2,238,258 people have now had two doses of a coronavirus vaccine.
