MORE than 3,000 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Wales, as well as 13 further deaths.
Public Health Wales figures released on Wednesday (October 20) report that 3,450 new cases were recorded in the latest 24-hour period.
Of the new cases reported, 438 were in North Wales.
Wrexham had the most new cases of the virus - 98.
The new cases of covid in North Wales can be broken down to:
Flintshire 68
Gwynedd 81
Denbighshire 76
Wrexham 98
Anglesey 37
Conwy 78
Sadly, a further 13 people have died in Wales in the latest 24-hour period having tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 28 days. 6,050 people in Wales have died after a positive test since the start of the pandemic.
2,237,199 people have now had two doses of a coronavirus vaccine.
