DONATIONS are being sought for an auction in aid of three-year-old Aria in her battle against a brain tumour.

Earlier this year, Aria Hodgkiss, from Rhostyllen, was tragically diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) - a tumour in her brain stem - on the day of her third birthday.

While Aria's tumour is inoperable, she has been in receipt of a new form of treatment as part of a clinical trial.

It is hoped this treatment, in the form of ONC201 drug, could extend Aria's life beyond the 9 to 18 month prognosis her family was given at the time of her diagnoses.

Recently, an MRI scan revealed that Aria's tumour has shrunk in size by 1cm. But it will cost Aria's family thousands to keep buying the treatment - as it's not available on the NHS.

They are crowdfunding to help generate the funds that are needed, and are looking to run an auction to help.

They are appealing to businesses in the hope they can donate items which will go up for auction - with the proceeds going to the Aria vs DIPG campaign.

Anyone wishing to donate items to the auction can do so by contacting Aria's family via Facebook by clicking here or by emailing ariavsdipg@gmail.com
