A MYNYDD Isa man is to be sentenced after he admitted making indecent images and possessing extreme pornography.
Mark Hillman, of Llys Argoed, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 47-year-old admitted that between June 2017 and June 2021 he made 433 indecent images or pseudo-images of children.
Of those, there were 80 in category A, 61 in category B and 292 in category C.
He also admitted that between the same dates he possessed extreme pornographic movies portraying a sexual act with an animal.
Deputy District Judge Paul Conlon told the defendant that given the high volume of images and the length of the period of offending, the offences could not be dealt with by the Magistrates Court.
He committed the case to Mold Crown Court, where Hillman will appear for sentencing later this month.
The Deputy District Judge ordered the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
