A POLICE sergeant in Wrexham has warned that his officers will "relentlessly pursue" criminality after the execution of a drugs warrant.

On Friday, the Leader joined North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team as it raided a property in Rhos suspected of being the centre of a local drugs supply operation.

While on this occasion officers didn't find what they had hoped to, Police Sergeant Nathan Harvey has issued a stern warning to anyone thinking of taking part in local acts of criminality.

"We will relentlessly pursue all who bring harm to the communities of Wrexham rural," he said.

"We are extremely grateful for the information that is being passed to us by members of the community, and while we unfortunately didn't make any significant findings on this occasion, we will continue to act upon intelligence we receive locally."

He added: "We are determined to make the area a safer place for all and won't stand for people thinking they can engage in acts of criminality.

"If you're thinking of doing so, think twice as it could be your door which is being smashed in."
