WREXHAM AFC'S co-chairman has taken to social media to blast the decision to postpone game at Aldershot.
The Reds were 2-0 to the good in the early stages of the second half when referee, the ironically named Sunny Gill, brought the game to an end in the 52nd minute due to a waterlogged pitch.
Amazingly, Wrexham's players were then seen acting as groundsmen as they tried to clear the standing water from the pitch.
And Rob McElhenney, the club's co-chairman, took to social media to react to it all.
He tweeted: "I’m watching our PLAYERS MOP THE FIELD to continue the game.
"I’ve never seen anything like it.
"Official statement from the co-chairman: 'We need to get out of this ******* league.'"
