A CRICKET club has been able to purchase a piece of potentially lifesaving equipment thanks to a local sponsorship.
Northop Cricket Club now has a new defibrillator, which the committee considered an important addition at the Flint Road ground to benefit players and the community.
It will be housed at the clubhouse.
Club chairman Mike Hughes said the purchase had been made possible thanks to sponsorship towards the cost from Crime Prevention Services in Northop and Creative in Learning, based in Mold and St Asaph.
Mr Hughes said: "We are very grateful to our sponsors for their kind contributions."
