FOODIES and music fans are in for a treat at a new festival coming to Wrexham in September.
Wrexham Feast opens for business on the weekend of September 25 and 26, with a range of activities and entertainment, including chef demos, street food, an artisan market and beer garden, live music and even a chance to have a go at axe throwing.
The event is the brainchild of Sam Harris and Joss Prince, whose social enterprise - Fair Event Management - is based at Wrexham Enterprise Hub.
Sam and Joss were due to stage the first Wrexham Feast event last year but it couldn't go ahead in the end due to Covid.
They are now looking forward to bringing it to Llwyn Isaf in the town later this month.
Sam Harris said: "We've got a full schedule arranged for the weekend, with loads of traders taking part, coming from all over the country, and a list of bands performing.
"It's really come together. We have had such great support from all of the businesses involved. It's looking like it's going to be a really fab weekend."
