One of North Wales' theatres is looking for help to find accommodation for its cast and crew.

Theatr Clwyd is appealing to the public for help to house actors performing and rehearsing at the Mold-based site.

The theatre employs hundreds of actors and creative staff including writers, directors, designers and stage managers every year.

From panto and musical stars, to expert lighting designers and costume makers, all these key visiting freelance staff need a home away from home, where they can sleep, rest between shows and get to know the region.

Theatr Clwyd is reaching out to its local community to find amazing hosts around the county to join our accommodation 'digs' list.

Whether it's a private room in a house, a B&B with spare rooms, out-of-season Airbnb listings to holiday lets or even full houses - the theatre is looking for options at a range of budgets - most importantly they're looking to make sure everyone visiting them has a place to call home near Mold.

Visiting actors are typically provided with a list outlining all local accommodation available in the area, with information including cost per night/week, what facilities and utilities are included or available at the property and the distance from the venue.
